Tango Answer
for Today
Fill each row and column with equal suns and moons. Edges show same (=) or opposite (×) constraints.
Balance every row and column
Each row and column must have exactly equal numbers of suns and moons. For a 6×6 grid that means 3 of each per line.
No three in a row
You can never place three of the same symbol consecutively in a row or column. Two in a row is allowed — three is not.
Use constraints first
Edge constraints ("=" same, "×" opposite) often force a cell directly. Solve constrained pairs before applying the balance or no-three rules.
About Tango
Tango is a binary puzzle played on an N×N grid. You fill each cell with either a sun or a moon, satisfying three rules: equal counts per row and column, no three identical symbols in a row, and all edge constraints (= or ×) must be respected.
A "=" mark on the edge between two adjacent cells means both cells must contain the same symbol. A "×" mark means they must contain opposite symbols. Edge marks narrow the solution space significantly — always resolve them first.
LinkedIn's Tango is typically played on a 6×6 grid, requiring 3 suns and 3 moons in every row and column. The grid size can vary as LinkedIn updates the game — the solution above reflects today's actual grid.
